It is generally supposed that daughters should be care taking and sons are bread winner and everyone in the patriarchal world sees daughter and sons by the same notion but exception to general rules always there. Indian mythologies are full of such exceptions(eg. shrawan kumar). I don't want to talk about the exceptions but generalisation. Keeping general view as true I find that there is a generally a kind of small disconnect between father and son. When son is small father wants to love him but he has to first earn for feeding the family so there is loss of proximity also he has to be hard to keep his son disciplined. When father is old then son has to earn to feed the family so there is loss of proximity also he has to be hard to carry on the fathers legacy. but if u see love is inherent in this disconnect but hard to be recognised...there are many psychologists like sigmund freud and d h lawrence who talk about father daughter connect and mother son connect through oedipus andd electra complexes...by quoting them I dont want to compare sons and daughters but just want to give a western point of view. Moreover any such comparison would be spurious because a man enjoys different privileges than a woman throughout his life. It is because of the injustice in society against woman by man as father, son, brother or husband but their nature to still love back us makes their love more recognizable and appreciable.. there may be probability that this extra recognition and appreciation is born out of guilt for what as a society we have done to them...My view point may be somewhat awkward but I have observed such things even in cities and well educated families....sorry if anybody finds it offending..udgithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16327544622398188076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2360304904596125453.post-79383016598737875392013-06-04T08:33:38.925-07:002013-06-04T08:33:38.925-07:00agreed sir ............ my vote also goes to daugh...agreed sir ............ my vote also goes to daughter only.......Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05254250667644107686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2360304904596125453.post-33550787829554728562013-06-03T21:38:35.556-07:002013-06-03T21:38:35.556-07:00Dear Sir ,its an individuals capability to love or...Dear Sir ,its an individuals capability to love or to take care of someone else.
